Numbat

The numbat is a terminte-eating marsupial that is native to Western Australia. Its appearance is very distinctive, with stripes across its back, pointed nose and a semi-bushy tail. Numbats are an endangered species, and various charitable organizations like Project Numbat seek promote awareness and contribute towards conservation.
